I’m an illustrator, author and character designer who fills books, museums, and screens with monsters, aliens and other oddball creatures. I’ve developed characters for animation studios and created the immersive art exhibition - Aliens, Zombies & Monsters! that tours around to galleries and museums around the country.

The first book in my new graphic novel series, Monster Doctor (Hachette, UK)will be published in August 2026. My books include the DinoMighty comics (HarperCollins) and the bestselling Shark School series (Simon & Schuster) in the US, and I also lead lively draw-along events at schools and event spaces.

Originally from Wisconsin (raised, according to legend, by giant squid), I now live on the south coast of England with a sketchbook bursting with mischievous monsters.
